Description:

As a Senior Information Security Engineer, you will design, implement, and maintain robust security measures to safeguard our cloud network infrastructure.
You will ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of critical systems while proactively identifying and mitigating potential security threats.
This role involves collaborating with both internal and external teams to clarify and solve complex security problems.
Responsibilities include designing secure cloud/network architectures, reviewing IAM and access controls, and maintaining network and security documentation.
You will manage security event detection tools, monitor network traffic for unusual activity, and respond to security incidents in a timely manner.
Conduct regular vulnerability assessments on network infrastructure and stay updated on emerging threats.
Maintain and improve incident response plans, participate in tabletop exercises, and lead incident response efforts when necessary.
Mentor other engineers on security configurations and best practices, and automate security tools and processes where possible.

Requirements:

You must have network security design experience and in-depth knowledge of network protocols, firewall configurations, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
A strong understanding of cloud infrastructure security, including hardening standards and authentication technologies such as SAML and OAuth, is required.
Experience with WAF technologies and configuring SIEM tools is essential.
You should possess extensive knowledge of vulnerability management practices and virus/malware defense systems.
Familiarity with backup systems and disaster recovery planning is necessary.
The ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously is required.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills are essential.
You must be willing to participate in a first line of support on-call rotation and have a desire to work remotely.
