Description:

Wellhub is seeking a Senior Security Engineer for its Application Security team in Brazil.
The mission of the Information Security team is to protect Wellhub's ecosystem from internal and external threats and to contribute to the creation of secure products.
The role involves securing applications throughout their lifecycle using engineering principles and automation.
Responsibilities include defining the DevSecOps strategy, eliminating vulnerabilities in applications from the early stages of development, and ensuring successful project deliveries.
The engineer will provide security practices at all stages of the software development process and develop tools that promote collaboration between developers, security experts, and operations teams.
The position also involves sharing knowledge within Wellhub to facilitate access for new members.

Requirements:

Candidates must have experience designing and implementing security controls for CI/CD pipelines and micro-services infrastructure.
Experience with SAST, DAST, and Vulnerability Scanners is required.
Candidates should have experience with Code Review and a background as a Software Developer.
Experience with Public Cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS, is necessary.
Knowledge in Linux, containers, and networking is required.
Proficiency in any modern programming language such as Java, Go, or Python is essential.
Candidates should have knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks such as OWASP and Mitre’s ATT&CK.
Familiarity with Security Champions programs and experience with Infrastructure as Code is required.
Fluency in English and Portuguese, both spoken and written, is mandatory.
