Description:
- Design, build, and maintain Circle’s infrastructure estate to support the global customer base on public cloud providers.
- Ensure Circle’s products and core systems run consistently, reasonably, and efficiently.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Support multiple development teams with an agile CI/CD platform for high-quality builds.
- Automate operational tasks using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, Go, Python, AWS Lambda, and Kubernetes.
- Manage and monitor Kubernetes clusters for production workloads.
- Drive blockchain infrastructure by managing nodes across various blockchains.
- Participate in on-call rotation for production system support and root cause analysis.
- Plan and test disaster recovery scenarios for a microservices architecture.
- Collaborate with the Security team to maintain security tools and frameworks.
- Mentor team members and contribute to team growth.
Requirements:
- 4+ years in DevOps or SRE roles with a focus on tooling, automation, and infrastructure on a major public cloud provider.
- Proficiency in Shell/Bash scripting and coding in Python, Go, and JavaScript.
- Experience in building and maintaining CI/CD platforms and supporting agile engineering teams.
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD platforms, blockchain systems, databases, data warehousing, networking, monitoring tools, Helm charts, and IaC with Terraform.
- Strong skills in observability, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts effectively.
For Staff Site Reliability Engineer (IV):
- 7+ years in DevOps or SRE roles with technical leadership experience.
- Deep understanding of API design, cloud services, containers, Kubernetes, SQL databases, and coding standards.
- Focus on architecture, system design, and code quality with a desire for high test coverage.
