The Senior Site Reliability Engineer will maintain and operate Gelato's infrastructure in a multi-cloud environment and contribute to improving incident management, postmortem philosophy, and DevOps culture.
Responsibilities include deploying and maintaining Rollups-as-a-Service core components, evaluating and modernizing infrastructure, maintaining CI/CD pipelines, providing operational support, and offering insights on system design and scalability.

Requirements:

Candidates must have at least 4 years of experience in maintaining cloud infrastructure with modern technologies and at least 1 year of experience in Web3-related infrastructure.
A strong understanding of GitOps principles is required, along with the ability to lead and influence peers in decision-making processes.
Experience operating infrastructure on major cloud providers (GCP, AWS, Azure) and familiarity with Docker, containerized applications, and Unix-based systems is essential.
Candidates should have experience in operating and optimizing Kubernetes clusters, as well as knowledge of Git, Helm, Terraform, Kubectl, and similar tools.
A background in networking, CDN, gateways, and deployment strategies is necessary, along with experience in operating highly available infrastructure.
Understanding of microservice-based architecture, advanced debugging, logging, monitoring, and alerting tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, Datadog) is required.
Candidates should have experience in implementing cost-optimized solutions and proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Go, Python, Rust, PHP, TypeScript).
An understanding of Web3 technologies and challenges, including Rollups-as-a-Service, is important, along with a willingness to learn and grow professionally.
