Description:

The Senior Site Reliability Engineer position at Webflow involves improving the reliability and stability of the customer-facing production infrastructure, which serves millions of page views per hour.
The role requires working with over 2 million users worldwide across 190 countries to ensure the platform is secure and scalable for the tens of thousands of projects launched on Webflow each month.
Responsibilities include empowering engineers on other teams to maintain monitoring tooling, enhancing the reliability of applications running in Kubernetes, occasionally diving into the main Webflow application, collaborating with various teams, and continuously improving on-call and incident response processes.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate should have a background as an ops engineer with an enthusiasm for code or as a software engineer with an enthusiasm for systems administration.
5+ years of experience building, maintaining, and debugging distributed systems in a customer-facing environment with minimal downtime is required.
Experience with navigating and scaling multi-tier cloud environments on AWS or GCP, container-centric architectures using tools like Kubernetes, and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform.
Proficiency in contributing to full-stack applications built with tools like React, Node, and MongoDB, as well as enthusiasm for mentoring less-experienced engineers.
