Exemplify cloud-native site reliability best practices and write performant, maintainable, clear, and concise code.
Utilize strong problem-solving skills to debug issues in cloud-native distributed systems.
Influence and educate the engineering organization on new and improved architectural patterns.
Provide comprehensive documentation to promote self-service among engineers.
Take calculated risks, champion new ideas, and continuously cultivate your craft.
Requirements:
This position involves handling classified federal data; therefore, it is open to US Citizens only.
A minimum of 10 years of applicable experience is required.
Experience managing cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or similar is necessary.
Proficiency in operating Kubernetes platforms like AKS, EKS, or similar is essential.
Experience with managed languages such as Python, Go, C#, Java, or similar is required.
Familiarity with CI/CD platforms to automate provisioning infrastructure, software builds, tests, and releases is needed.
Experience using observability tools such as APM, logging, and metrics for debugging issues is important.
Ability to design tooling that simplifies the operational management of SaaS/PaaS systems is required.
Familiarity with building flexible and testable Infrastructure as Code modules is necessary.
Empathy to support the needs of software engineers is essential.
