Description:

Olo is a leading SaaS platform that accelerates digital transformation in the restaurant industry by providing digital ordering, payment, and guest engagement solutions.
The Senior Site Reliability Engineer will report to the Site Reliability Team Lead and will partner with Engineering and Product Managers to enhance system availability and execution skills.
This position is fully remote, allowing work from anywhere within the United Kingdom.
The role is contracted through Deel, an Employer of Record, which handles the legal and administrative responsibilities of employment.
The engineer will guide observability and SLIs/SLOs to Incident Response, implement incident response tools, and build collaborative monitoring solutions across product teams.
Responsibilities include contributing insights to improve existing systems, rethinking observability tooling, analyzing processes around Incident Response, and participating in an Incident Commander on-call rotation.
The engineer will also mentor engineering teams through various training and feedback channels.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of professional experience in building scalable, efficient, and resilient systems.
Experience with monitoring tools such as Datadog, Sumo Logic, Raygun, New Relic, Grafana, CloudWatch, and Splunk SignalFx is required.
Fluency in Incident Management using tools like FireHydrant, OpsGenie, PagerDuty, VictorOps, or similar is necessary.
Experience with build and deploy tools such as Jenkins, TeamCity, Octopus, or CircleCI is expected.
Prior hands-on software development experience is essential.

The compensation range for this position is estimated to be between £57,600 and £68,400 annually, depending on the candidate's experience.
