Description:
- Varicent, a leader in sales performance management, is seeking a Senior Software Developer to join their Sales Planning team.
- The role involves working on a modern SaaS product, a single-page web application built in React and connected via GraphQL to a serverless backend on AWS.
- Responsibilities include envisioning, designing, and developing the web application, writing clean and efficient code, conducting thorough testing, and optimizing code and architecture for scalability and performance.
- The developer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of software modules and focus on client success through creative problem-solving.
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of software development experience using TypeScript, JavaScript, React, and Node.js.
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in micro-services architecture, GraphQL, Apollo, Docker, and AWS services (Lambda, Aurora, RDS, ECS, Step Functions).
- Knowledge of NoSQL and SQL databases (DynamoDB, DocumentDB, PostgreSQL).
- Passion for building high-performance, scalable systems in the Cloud.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with test-driven development, continuous delivery, and continuous integration.
