The position is for a Senior Software Engineer in Test (SDET) responsible for developing and maintaining automated tests, frameworks, and tools.
The role involves working closely with automation, QA, and engineering teams to deliver robust and scalable test solutions.
Core responsibilities include designing and optimizing automated tests for end-to-end UI testing using Playwright, verifying build stability, collaborating with cross-functional teams, pioneering new testing initiatives, automating processes, analyzing test results, mentoring junior team members, and identifying additional automation opportunities.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in software development and writing automated tests.
Expertise in test automation frameworks like Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress is required, along with hands-on experience in building and maintaining large-scale automation suites.
Proficiency in JavaScript and/or TypeScript is necessary.
A strong understanding of Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) pipelines and integrating test automation within them is essential.
In-depth knowledge of test design, development, and execution, with the ability to implement best practices in test automation is required.
Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills are necessary, with the ability to debug complex issues in both production and test environments.
Experience with performance testing, security testing, and load testing is required.
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) for test environments is necessary.
Proven experience in mentoring and leading junior engineers is required, fostering a collaborative team culture.
A passion for quality and a proactive attitude toward improving test coverage and overall software quality is essential.
Experience working in agile environments and collaborating closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders is required.
