Description:

  • The Senior Software Engineer will work on the cloud app team at dbt Labs, focusing on building and maintaining dbt Cloud.
  • Responsibilities include developing features for customers, strengthening APIs, and implementing new systems end to end.
  • The role involves working as a full stack engineer, building backend services in Python and/or frontend code in React.
  • Collaboration with customers and product managers to understand and expand opportunities in the modern data stack is a key aspect of the position.
  • There will be opportunities to mentor and guide less senior engineers to foster a learning environment for innovation and technical excellence.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years experience as a software engineer is required.
  • A Bachelor's degree in a related field (computer science, computer engineering, etc.) or completion of an engineering-related bootcamp is necessary.
  • The ideal candidate should be technically skilled, proactive, and capable of working across the full stack of technologies.
  • Adaptability to navigate business changes and success working asynchronously as part of a fully-remote, distributed team are essential qualities.

Benefits:

  • The salary for the position ranges from $154,000 to $181,000.
  • Equity stake is offered as part of the compensation package.
