Description:
At Atropos Health, we are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team and play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining applications.
The role involves working as a full-stack engineer with a focus on software design, testability, and CI/CD automation.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of our software environments, contributing to both backend and frontend development using Python/Django and React.
Responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining backend and frontend components, writing efficient code, implementing CI/CD pipelines, collaborating with product managers and designers, conducting code reviews, integrating data, staying updated with technologies, troubleshooting application issues, and mentoring junior developers.
Minimum qualifications include at least 5 years of professional experience, proficiency in Python/Django and React, knowledge of front-end technologies, experience with CI/CD, cloud infrastructures, containerization technologies, databases, web security best practices, and prototyping tools.
The role reports directly to the SVP Engineering, Rehan Chawdry.
This is a remote position, and candidates must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a software engineer with a focus on full-stack development.
Proficiency in Python/Django for backend development and modern JavaScript frameworks like React.
Strong understanding of front-end development technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Experience with code versioning tools like Git, automated testing frameworks, and CI/CD principles.
Familiarity with cloud infrastructures, containerization technologies, and databases.
Knowledge of web security best practices and common vulnerabilities.
Experience with prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Zeplin.
Excellent problem-solving skills, proactive approach to work, and strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Healthcare-related experience is a plus.
