The team gathers twice a year for onsite meetings and hosts multiple in-person events to foster collaboration and innovation.
The role involves refining the technical vision, leading discussions, and implementing multiple complex projects while advocating for new, impactful ideas.
The candidate will continuously improve company processes, tools, and systems to scale the code base, productivity, and the team.
Responsibilities include recruiting, interviewing, and developing interview questions while fostering a culture of excellence, velocity, and humility.
The role also involves building the data warehouse with a workflow execution engine and inspiring and mentoring less experienced engineers.

Requirements:

A minimum of five years of building and shipping solutions is preferred.
A track record of delivering high-quality products and features at scale is required.
The candidate must have the ability to turn and create business and product ideas into engineering solutions.
A desire to work in a fast-paced environment, continuously grow, and master one's craft is essential.
Familiarity with the tech stack is important, which includes:
- Frontend scope: NextJS, tRPC, and NodeJS.
- Backend scope: NodeJS, gRPC, Python, and Kotlin.
- Database: Postgres (including some ORMs like Prisma and JPA).
- Infrastructure: GCP and Kubernetes.

The salary for this position is up to £105k per annum, along with an option package.
Employees receive 23 days of holidays per annum, plus the days between Christmas and New Year, and local public holidays.
The position is remote, allowing work in the UK/PT timezone with a flexibility of +/- 2 hours.
