Remote Senior Software Engineer

Description:

• Participate in the design, development, and maintenance of Heap | by Contentsquare’s core Product Analytics technical surface areas, ensuring they meet Contentsquare’s growing scale and cross-sell opportunities.
• Work with technical stakeholders from across the company to solve big problems, align on technical direction, and make sure our systems continue to meet their evolving needs.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Designers throughout the product development lifecycle, from discovery and design to delivery and ongoing monitoring post-release.
• Have 5+ years of experience developing large frontend projects using a modern component-based Javascript framework.
• Possess 5+ years of experience with primarily frontend development, especially on single page applications built with React/Typescript stack.
• Preferably have some exposure to backend development (Nodejs/Postgres), although it is less critical for this role.
• Ideally, have experience with visualization libraries, such as D3 or visx.
• Display a collaborative and intellectually curious approach to software development, enjoying learning from and teaching others.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills, particularly in writing, to effectively communicate complex ideas across a distributed team.
• Have experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Have experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team.
• Possess excellent stakeholder management skills for effective collaboration and communication across teams.
• Prioritize MVP (Minimum Viable Product) principles, emphasizing simplicity and efficiency.
• Desire to work in a respectful, transparent, and collaborative environment aligned with the company values.
