Wonderschool is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join their team and lead software development initiatives.
The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, develop software solutions using TypeScript/Javascript, and maintain the codebase.
Responsibilities include integrating internal applications, optimizing databases, staying updated with industry trends, and troubleshooting technical issues.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, 5+ years of software development experience, and expertise in TypeScript/Javascript.
Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and Agile development skills are required.
Frontend and backend experience with various technologies like ReactJS, Node.js, PostgreSQL, and GraphQL APIs is essential.
Bonus skills include experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud environments like Google Cloud Platform and AWS.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on TypeScript/Javascript.
Proven experience integrating internal applications and services.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Strong understanding and practical application of Agile development methodologies. Experience as a ScrumMaster is highly desirable.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to tackle complex technical challenges.
Detail-oriented mindset, with a focus on delivering high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code.
Frontend and backend experience with various technologies like ReactJS, Node.js, PostgreSQL, and GraphQL APIs.
Experience with CI pipelines, TDD, and bonus skills in Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud environments.
