Emi, the main product, is an A.I. recruitment assistant that automates tasks such as screening, validating skills, scheduling interviews, and collecting documents.
The Hiring Platform Team is responsible for modeling and orchestrating the hiring process models related to clients within Emi, providing infrastructure for client integration and connecting frontline workers with opportunities.
As a Staff Backend Engineer, you will design system architecture, perform high-level programming, testing, and systems integration.
Responsibilities include collaborating with the Product team, solving production issues, building and maintaining internal microservices, proposing improvements, shipping code weekly, analyzing real-time results, and enhancing service performance.
You will also contribute to building an inclusive, people-driven company culture.
Requirements:
You must have 3+ years of back-end software development experience.
A completed degree or advanced studies in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is required.
Strong experience with distributed systems and microservices is essential.
Familiarity with leveraging LLMs/GenAI to enhance performance is preferred.
Excellent communication skills and fluency in English are necessary.
A humble learner who keeps up with technology and learns from mistakes is desired.
A proactive mindset and eagerness to propose new ideas and simple solutions are important.
You should have a people-driven attitude and thrive in a team-oriented environment.
A product-minded engineer who considers the product and users is sought after.
Curiosity and initiative, especially in refactoring medium to large services, are valued.
Interest or experience in infrastructure and DevOps is a plus.
