Description:
Eventbrite is the world’s largest self-service ticketing platform, aiming to connect creators and event attendees through a world-class ad solution.
The Creator Experience team focuses on enabling creators to promote their events and manage ad campaigns effectively.
Responsibilities include developing UI and backend systems for ad campaign management, targeting attendees, and providing performance insights to creators.
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will extend the framework and APIs for the ads creator ecosystem and build user-friendly interfaces.
You will collaborate with product, design, and front-end engineers to address various needs and solve technical challenges.
The role involves owning impactful features across the full stack and mentoring junior engineers.
The engineering teams manage their services end-to-end, including requirements gathering, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
Requirements:
A minimum of 4 years of experience in building customer-facing software applications is required.
Strong proficiency in high-level programming languages, particularly Python, is essential.
Practical experience with HTML, CSS, Ajax, and JavaScript, as well as modern frontend frameworks like React, is necessary.
Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines is required.
Unit testing knowledge is mandatory, with experience in Test-Driven Development (TDD) or Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) being a plus.
Experience in designing and developing APIs is required.
Familiarity with AWS or Google Cloud Services is necessary.
Experience with MySQL, Aurora, or other relational database management systems (RDBMS) is required, with NoSQL experience being a plus.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, along with a self-starter attitude, are essential.
A commitment to writing maintainable and well-tested code is required.
Experience in a continuously delivering and automating processes environment is preferred.
