Remote Senior Software Engineer

Description:

• The Senior Software Engineer at Circle will be responsible for extending the company's in-house blockchain systems infrastructure to support global tokenization.
• They will analyze requirements, procedures, and problems to enhance existing systems and build scalable microservices for reliable and secure APIs transferring value across blockchain and traditional banking protocols.
• Collaborating with Product and Engineering teams, they will design, test, and shape Circle features, troubleshoot malfunctions, build publicly accessible APIs, integrate with leading banks, and consult with management on system principles.
• Responsibilities also include writing infrastructure for payment experiences, working with data sources, messaging systems, and APIs.

Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years of professional software development experience in Java and Go.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Led teams technically on architecture and system design.
• Experience with payment systems, RESTful API design, Cloud Services, SQL databases, and scalable software deployment.
• Focus on coding standards, code quality, and test coverage.
• Excellent communication skills for remote collaboration.
• Self-starter with a fast-paced work approach and ability to improve work independently.

Benefits:

• Base Pay Range: $147,500 - $195,000.
• Annual Bonus Target: 12.5%.
