Work on the Fleet 3 mobile and Axon Device Manager platforms for phones and tablets.
Provide guidance and direction to the team on incorporating the latest Android technologies as mobile apps are deployed to market.
Requirements:
You must have 6+ years of industry experience shipping Android applications to the Google Play Store.
A deep understanding of mobile phones is required, including leading mobile design reviews and implementing designs for release and post-release monitoring.
Experience with networking protocols such as TCP, UDP, DHCP, DNS, Server-Sent-Events, and Websockets is necessary, with debugging skills using Wireshark or Charles being a plus.
Proficiency in Android technologies including Retrofit, Coroutines, Okhttp, Hilt, and Jetpack (with Jetpack Compose being a plus) is essential.
Familiarity with modern architecture patterns such as MVVM and MVI, including unit testing, is required.
Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON is necessary.
You should have experience with SDKs related to Bluetooth, WiFi, Networking, Camera (Photo/Video), Audio, File Management, and interacting with third-party hardware.
Experience with video streaming and IoT devices/connectivity over BLE or Wifi is also required.

The starting base pay for this role ranges from USD 120,000 to USD 210,000, depending on various factors such as level, function, training, and geographic market.
