Description:
The Senior Software Engineer - Android+X will conceptualize and deliver features that fit customer needs.
This role requires being the go-to Android expert in the team while also working on other projects and environments.
The engineer will become an expert in their product domain and work closely with hardware and cloud platform teams.
Keeping up with cutting-edge Android technologies and software engineering practices is essential.
The position involves assisting in roadmap planning, estimation, scheduling, and hiring.
The engineer will report to and work closely with the CTO.
Requirements:
A minimum of 5 years of in-depth software engineering experience is required.
Candidates must be versatile in multiple programming languages and environments and be excited about learning new ones.
Strong Android native development skills using the latest tech stack, including Kotlin and Jetpack Compose, are necessary.
Experience in shipping multiple mobile apps in a B2B environment is essential.
Exceptional communication and cross-discipline collaboration skills are required.
Solid experience in at least one other environment is considered a "great to have."
A strong sense of user experience and a solid understanding of different API formats and data storage technologies are needed.
Candidates should be able to plan and work autonomously based on high-level requirements while staying aligned with their team.
