Remote Senior Software Engineer - Android+X (f/m/x)

Description:

• The Senior Software Engineer - Android+X will conceptualize and deliver features that fit customer needs.
• This role requires being the go-to Android expert in the team while also working on other projects and environments.
• The engineer will become an expert in their product domain and work closely with hardware and cloud platform teams.
• Keeping up with cutting-edge Android technologies and software engineering practices is essential.
• The position involves assisting in roadmap planning, estimation, scheduling, and hiring.
• The engineer will report to and work closely with the CTO.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years of in-depth software engineering experience is required.
• Candidates must be versatile in multiple programming languages and environments and be excited about learning new ones.
• Strong Android native development skills using the latest tech stack, including Kotlin and Jetpack Compose, are necessary.
• Experience in shipping multiple mobile apps in a B2B environment is essential.
• Exceptional communication and cross-discipline collaboration skills are required.
• Solid experience in at least one other environment is considered a "great to have."
• A strong sense of user experience and a solid understanding of different API formats and data storage technologies are needed.
• Candidates should be able to plan and work autonomously based on high-level requirements while staying aligned with their team.
