Remote Senior Software Engineer, API Development

Description:

• The Data Platform team at Ava Labs is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to work on building distributed, scalable, and highly performant APIs for internal projects and the external Avalanche community.
• Responsibilities include collaborating with product teams for feature development, integrating blockchain-specific data pipelines, designing services for NFTs, DeFi, and blockchain gaming, and leading the team in building and maintaining large-scale distributed systems.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience is required.
• Candidates should have at least 5 years of general backend development experience and 3+ years of experience in building large-scale enterprise APIs.
• Decision-making experience for high throughput systems is necessary.
• Strong preference for experience with Typescript/Node.js, familiarity with data pipelines, and knowledge of Golang is a plus.
