Description:
MacStadium is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Admin & Portal team.
The role involves researching, documenting, implementing, and supporting various integrations into the core business platform.
The Senior Software Engineer will work closely with a remote-first team to build and support integration functionality related to billing, customer management, authentication, and other key business processes.
This position is part of the Software Development team and reports to the VP of Engineering.
While the ideal location is near one of MacStadium's U.S. offices in Atlanta, GA or Las Vegas, NV, the role can be filled remotely within the United States for the right candidate.
Key technologies include NodeJS, MySQL, GraphQL, and various integrations with Salesforce, Zendesk, Jira, Chargebee, Netsuite, and AWS Cognito.
Experience with AWS, ReactJS, PHP, CakePHP, Python, and Django is also beneficial.
Requirements:
A BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar field is preferred.
Candidates should have 5 years of experience, with at least 3 to 5 years of professional experience in the required technical skills.
Experience in consuming and building APIs using schema-first solutions such as GraphQL, Swagger, OpenAPI, or gRPC is necessary.
Familiarity with relational databases, particularly MySQL, is required.
Experience architecting and implementing GraphQL APIs is essential.
Candidates should have experience supporting integrations with Salesforce, Zendesk, Jira, Chargebee, Netsuite, and AWS Cognito.
Experience building applications for AWS and integrating with cloud-native services is required.
