The role involves identifying, defining, and solving strategically essential technical problems, including architecting and building highly scalable foundational platforms.
The engineer will collaborate cross-functionally with PMs, Engineers, Design, Data Scientists, Research, and Operations teams.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 4+ years of industry professional software development experience and a track record of building impactful products or systems.
An owner’s mindset is essential; candidates should be self-starters who focus on impact and get things across the finish line.
Experience in leading projects and collaborating with mobile engineers, product managers, and data scientists is required.
Strong data insight is necessary, with a reliance on data for decision-making.
Excellent communication and effective prioritization skills are needed to manage competing priorities.
A passion for Lime's mission and micromobility, with a desire to see cities transform to become people-centric and less polluted, is important.
Preferred experience includes working in evolving startups, expertise in backend programming and scaling systems, and experience with Ruby on Rails.
