The Senior Software Engineer, Backend will work remotely and is responsible for implementing features that are functional, fast, and user-friendly.
The role involves solving business and product needs through custom software, enhancements, and bug fixes.
The Senior Developer will lead mid-sized development projects from start to finish, including technical requirements gathering, data modeling, technology selection, and deployment.
The position requires participation in the design of customized solutions and ensuring that coded solutions function across all environments.
Responsibilities include participating in code reviews, troubleshooting upper environment issues, managing multiple projects, and mentoring junior developers.
Candidates are preferred to be based in AL, FL, GA, IN, MI, NC, TN, or TX.
Requirements:
A minimum of 5+ years of experience in software engineering roles is required.
Candidates should have the equivalent of 8+ years of industry experience.
Senior-level knowledge of the Microsoft .NET technology stack, including C#, .NET, ASP.NET, Web APIs, and Microsoft SQL Server is essential.
Proficiency in Git, unit testing (xUnit, NUnit, etc.), debugging, profiling, and performance monitoring is required.
Experience with Docker/Kubernetes, Microsoft Azure, ML/NLP, Azure DevOps, and SignalR is necessary.
Familiarity with testing and test frameworks such as NSubstitute, Playwright, and Jest is expected.
Bonus points for candidates with healthcare experience, frontend experience (React, Javascript), 3rd party API integrations (Google, Facebook, Apple), and EHR experience (Epic, Cerner, Athena, Allscripts).
