The engineer will help build systems to make cryptocurrency accessible globally, operating real-time applications with high frequency and low latency updates.
The position requires managing the most secure, dockerized infrastructure running in the cloud.
The Consumer Product Group engineers aim to make the Coinbase retail app the easiest-to-use and fastest experience for accessing crypto.
In 2024, the goal is to be the #1 self-custody wallet measured by MTU’s and download share.
The suite of products includes the Coinbase app, advanced trade, dapps, and staking.
Responsibilities include building new services using Golang, designing scalable systems, articulating a long-term vision for backend systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and writing high-quality, well-tested code.

Requirements:

Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience in software engineering.
They should have designed, built, scaled, and maintained production services, with knowledge of composing a service-oriented architecture.
The ability to write high-quality, well-tested code to meet customer needs is essential.
