Description:
- Recharge, the #1 subscription platform, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Backend) to join the Core Commerce Org.
- The Core Commerce Org is responsible for services core to the business, including Subscriptions, Orders, Customers, Credits, Discounts, Shipping, Taxes, and Integrations with Shopify.
- The role involves taking ownership of end-to-end solution design and delivery, extending Subscriptions and Rewards platforms, and collaborating closely with others.
- The tech stack includes Python, Flask, Dapr, Kubernetes, GCP Cloud Functions, Elasticsearch, Redis, Terraform, and more.
- The ideal candidate should enjoy remote work, collaboration, rapid prototyping, and tackling challenges in code, infrastructure, and documentation.
- Responsibilities include building high-impact products, understanding roadmap priorities, managing project deadlines, debugging production issues, and contributing to a positive team environment.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of relevant full stack development experience with Python, Nodejs, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Familiarity with micro-service architecture and cloud computing experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
- Experience with Python, Serverless, Kubernetes, and Cloud Platforms like GCP or AWS.
- Demonstrable expertise in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Ability to work remote-first in a high-growth company and demonstrate high self-sufficiency.
- Versatility, ownership qualities, and enthusiasm to take on new problems across the full-stack.
- Prior e-commerce experience is preferred.
