Description:

  • The Senior Software Engineer, Backend will work remotely and is responsible for implementing features that are functional, fast, and user-friendly.
  • The role involves solving business and product needs through custom software, enhancements, and bug fixes.
  • The Senior Developer will lead mid-sized development projects, including technical requirements gathering, data modeling, technology selection, and deployment.
  • The position requires participation in the design of customized solutions and ensuring that coded solutions function across different environments.
  • Responsibilities include participating in code reviews, troubleshooting issues, managing multiple projects, and mentoring junior developers.
  • Candidates are preferred to be based in specific states: AL, FL, GA, IN, MI, NC, TN, TX.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in software engineering roles is required.
  • Candidates should have the equivalent of 8+ years of industry experience.
  • Senior-level knowledge of the Microsoft .NET technology stack, including C#, .NET, ASP.NET, Web APIs, and Microsoft SQL Server is essential.
  • Proficiency in Git, unit testing frameworks (xUnit, NUnit), debugging, profiling, and performance monitoring is required.
  • Experience with Docker/Kubernetes, Microsoft Azure, ML/NLP, Azure DevOps, and SignalR is necessary.
  • Familiarity with testing and test frameworks such as NSubstitute, Playwright, and Jest is expected.
  • Bonus points for candidates with healthcare experience, frontend experience (React, Javascript), 3rd party API integrations, and EHR experience (Epic, Cerner, Athena, Allscripts).
