Description:

• Coinbase is seeking experienced backend engineers to join their team to build out the next generation of crypto-forward products and features.
• The role involves solving unique, large scale, highly complex technical problems, bridging the constraints posed by web-scale applications and blockchain technology.
• The engineer will help build systems to make cryptocurrency accessible globally, operating real-time applications with high frequency, low latency updates, and managing secure, dockerized infrastructure in the cloud.
• The Institutional Product Group supports thousands of large financial institutions, enabling them to custody their digital assets and participate in the crypto economy securely.
• The team focuses on building a scalable and secure crypto platform that supports hundreds of assets and enables participation in staking, governance, and web3 gateways.
• Responsibilities include building new services using Golang, designing scalable systems, articulating a long-term vision for backend systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and writing high-quality, well-tested code.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience in software engineering.
• Applicants should have designed, built, scaled, and maintained production services, with knowledge of service-oriented architecture.
