Description:
- The Storefront Team at Recharge is responsible for storefront widgets and backend services, handling 2.5M+ sessions per day.
- The team injects Recharge features like Subscriptions, Bundles, and Loyalty benefits into merchant checkout experiences.
- They work on front-end widgets and back-end services including SQL/document databases, a CDN, event-driven messaging systems, and REST APIs.
- The Tech Stack includes Python, Fastapi, Flask, Vue.js, React, Remix, GCP, SaaS, MySQL/NoSQL, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, Splunk, SignalFx, and Sentry.
- The role involves building, maintaining, and debugging high-impact, high-performance products for merchant storefront experiences.
- Responsibilities include code reviews, developing proof of concepts, investigating programming methodologies, and advocating for engineering standards.
- Collaboration with product and engineering management to inform roadmap timeline and release product features incrementally.
- The position requires a willingness to learn, experiment, and take ownership of work in a remote-first high-growth company.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of relevant development experience in fast-paced environments.
- Experience with JavaScript, Python, and Cloud Platforms like GCP or AWS.
- Familiarity with micro-service architecture and major modern Web UI frameworks like ReactJS or Vue.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, STEM-related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Prior e-commerce experience is preferred.
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work remote-first and demonstrate high self-sufficiency in completing projects promptly.
