• Keeper Security is hiring talented JavaScript / ReactJS developers to join the Browser Extension team.
• This is a 100% remote position.
• The role involves developing and executing automated tests, enhancing test suites, and ensuring the quality of web applications.
• The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for developing and enhancing browser extension features that empower millions of users to secure their digital lives.
• The position requires working with cutting-edge technologies like JavaScript, React, Redux, Jest, and more.
• Responsibilities include designing, building, and maintaining high-quality, scalable, and secure features for the Keeper Browser Extension.
• The engineer will work closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other engineers to define requirements and deliver the best possible user experience.
• The role emphasizes the highest standards for coding practices, including test-driven development (TDD) and participating in code reviews.
• Continuous analysis, improvement, and optimization of the performance, reliability, and security of the browser extension are expected.
• The engineer will review, maintain, and improve the current codebase, fixing bugs, implementing new features, and refactoring code as necessary.
• Active engagement in code reviews to ensure quality and share knowledge with team members is required.
• Keeping up to date with the latest trends, best practices, and tools in web development, browser extensions, and cybersecurity is essential.
• The engineer will help identify areas for process improvement, code refactoring, and potential technical debt resolution.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in JavaScript development, including proficiency in core JavaScript concepts.
• A minimum of 3+ years of experience with React, Redux, Jest, and TypeScript is required.
• Strong experience with browser extension development and the unique challenges it presents is necessary.
• Experience with modern web development tools and workflows, including build tools like Webpack, version control using Git, and CI/CD pipelines, is essential.
• A solid understanding of frontend architectures, including component-based development, state management, and UI/UX principles, is required.
• Candidates should have experience with testing frameworks such as Jest and writing comprehensive unit and integration tests.
• The ability to maintain and improve a large codebase, ensuring it remains stable, scalable, and maintainable, is necessary.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug complex issues are required.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with remote teams, are essential.
