Remote Senior Software Engineer -Clinical Applications

Description:

• Develop highly-performant, scalable, and secure software using C# (.NET) for cloud-native deployments to AWS.
• Lead, mentor, and improve the BioDashboard software team to instill good engineering culture principles.
• Contribute to a positive DevOps culture by teaching efficiency and automation.
• Ensure good automated unit test coverage and automate deployments.
• Scale and maintain the BioDashboard infrastructure to meet customer needs, including user-facing features, backend components, and data acquisition.
• Create CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments and system reliability.
• Take ownership of projects from start to finish and provide after-hours support when necessary.
• Offer technical sales support for BioIntelliSense sales opportunities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of production software development experience with modern .NET, C#, and web development skills.
• Experience with high-scale SaaS and distributed systems in cloud environments like Azure, GCP, or AWS.
• Proficiency in SQL Server, MongoDB, DynamoDB, Redis, or similar databases.
• Strong communication skills for team collaboration and customer interactions.
• Knowledge of cloud-based system scaling and healthcare information technology.
• Understanding of HIPAA requirements and compliance.
• Familiarity with medical technology industry tools and standards like Web services, APIs, HL7, and FHIR.
• Experience with EHR systems such as Epic and Cerner, and healthcare integration support.
