The Gopuff team is looking for a diligent, creative, and knowledgeable Senior Software Engineer to join their Cloud Engineering team.
This position focuses on DevOps and aims to create innovative solutions to enhance customer experience.
Responsibilities include building optimized routing systems, creating an end-to-end shopping experience, devising warehouse management systems, and designing user-friendly mobile and web applications.
The primary responsibilities involve building and improving automation at the intersection of infrastructure and application.
A commitment to collaborative problem solving, elegant design, and quality products is essential.
The position is remote, but individuals near Philadelphia, Miami, NYC, Boston, Seattle, or the Bay Area may receive preferential treatment.

Requirements:

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.
Candidates must have over 6 years of production experience.
Proficiency in programming with one or more high-level languages such as Python, Java, Go, C/C++, and JavaScript is necessary.
Experience in automating infrastructure provisioning in a public cloud, preferably using Terraform, is required.
Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes is strongly preferred.
A strong understanding of UNIX, TCP/IP, and HTTP fundamentals is essential.
Candidates should have experience building secure systems from both infrastructure and platform perspectives.
Experience in building highly available systems utilizing load balancing and horizontal scalability is required.
The ability to prioritize and organize work in a multifaceted environment is necessary.
Proficiency with modern web, frontend, server, and/or cloud applications is required.
Hands-on technical expertise in Security Architecture, automation, integration, and CI/CD deployment (DevOps) is essential.
A solid grasp of data structures, algorithms, and databases (e.g., SQL, MongoDB) is required.
Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery in a GitOps deployment model is necessary.

Gopuff offers competitive compensation based on market pricing, with a remote US salary range of $170,000 - $190,000.
Pay may vary depending on location, skills, experience, qualifications, interview performance, and market conditions.
