The Senior Software Engineer will contribute to building the Replicated delivery and management platform, implementing, testing, and deploying new enhancements and updates.
The role involves working with cutting-edge technologies like Kubernetes and Helm to develop multi-premise features for ISVs and Enterprise customers.
The engineer will work on back end API services and a custom developed hypervisor service, primarily using Go.
The position includes a 25% ownership of support for the product line, directly engaging with customers to address issues and gather feedback.
The development process emphasizes understanding customer problems, creating solutions, and iterating based on feedback.
The engineering team is organized into pods, encouraging ownership of product metrics and delivering customer value.

Requirements:

Candidates must have senior-level professional development experience with Go and associated tooling.
A senior-level professional experience with Kubernetes and cloud-native projects is required.
Excellent technical communication and collaboration skills are necessary, including the ability to communicate complex technical topics clearly.
Experience with Linux hypervisors, networking, and virtualization technologies is essential.
Candidates should have experience designing, building, and maintaining API services and their respective datastores.
Experience in developing and shipping software in a cloud-native, customer-facing infrastructure is required.
Proven ability to create impactful contributions independently and collaboratively is necessary.
Candidates must have experience breaking down complex challenges into iterative deliverables.
Experience delivering software within a modern CI/CD pipeline is required.
A high degree of curiosity for innovative software balanced with an appreciation for sustainable solutions is essential.
