Remote Senior Software Engineer

Description:

• The Senior Software Engineer at Circle will be responsible for extending the company's in-house blockchain systems infrastructure to support the tokenization of the world.
• They will analyze requirements, procedures, and problems to enhance existing systems and build scalable microservices for reliable and secure APIs transferring value across blockchain and traditional banking protocols.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to design, test, and shape Circle features, including developing system design procedures and quality standards.
• Troubleshoot program and system malfunctions, build publicly accessible APIs for developers, integrate Platform Services with leading banks, and consult with management on system principles.
• Write infrastructure for great payment experiences, including data sources, messaging systems, and APIs.

Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years of professional software development experience in object-oriented languages like Java and Go.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience leading teams technically on architecture and system design.
• Familiarity with payment systems, RESTful API design, Cloud Services, SQL databases, and scalable software deployment.
• Focus on coding standards, code quality, and test coverage.
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with remote teams.
• Self-starter with a fast-paced work approach and ability to improve work with minimal supervision.

Benefits:

• Base Pay Range: $147,500 - $195,000.
• Annual Bonus Target: 12.5%.
