Figure is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Data Engineering team in Helena, MT.

The Data Engineering team is responsible for designing, building, and optimizing data pipelines that connect applications, external data sources, analytics, and reporting systems.
The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, ingesting and processing data, designing data transformation processes, building infrastructure for reporting, and ensuring data security and compliance.
The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for working on data infrastructure supporting a blockchain-native financial services platform.
Requirements:
The candidate should be a team player with a proactive attitude and a problem-solving mindset.
A BS/BA or higher degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field is required.
5+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on data engineering is necessary.
Proficiency in data pipeline tools like Kafka, BigQuery, and ETL frameworks is essential.
Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala are required.
Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as GCP or AWS is a must.
Familiarity with SQL, dbt, Apache Beam, and data transformation processes is needed.
The candidate should have the ability to work independently, solve complex data problems, and deliver end-to-end data solutions.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders are essential.

For residents of CO, NY, CA, and WA, the salary range is $119,680 - $149,600 with up to a 25% Bonus and Equity. Actual compensation may vary based on individual candidate experience and location.
