Description:

Gopuff’s engineering team is focused on building solutions to change how people purchase daily goods.
The Senior Software Engineer will lead the design and development of services for Delivery Technology, including Driver Pay and Pricing, Dispatch and Optimization, ETA and Routing, and the Driver App.
The candidate will collaborate with product, engineering, and stakeholders to drive strategic technology choices.
The role involves partnering with engineering leadership and cross-functional teams to evolve systems for future business growth.
Success will be measured by effective service delivery, strategic design trade-offs, mentoring engineers, and hands-on coding following industry best practices.
The engineer will raise the bar for engineering standards across the team and organization.

Requirements:

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience is required.
The candidate must have 5+ years of relevant experience.
Proficiency with modern web, frontend, backend, and/or cloud applications is necessary.
A good understanding of Object Oriented concepts is required.
Experience in building highly scalable, high-throughput systems is essential.
The candidate must have experience creating APIs and extensible systems.
Preferred qualifications include experience using Java or C++, building microservices in a distributed environment, and knowledge of message-based/event-driven architecture.
Public cloud experience in a production setting (Azure/GCP) is preferred.
Experience in operations, monitoring, and deployment methodologies for distributed systems is also preferred.

Gopuff offers a competitive salary range of $165,000 - $200,000, which may vary based on location and other factors.
