Remote Senior Software Engineer, Driver Marketplace

Description:

• Architect, build, test, and deploy applications supporting the driver portion of the Veho marketplace
• Modify designs and specifications of complex, distributed microservice applications
• Collaborate through peer code reviews, providing comments and suggestions
• Work with technical and non-technical stakeholders in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Analyze code, requirements, system risks, and software reliability to optimize technology usage
• Confirm requirements, prioritize, and develop new features with Product and Design teams
• Integrate data-based decisions from Data Science teams into product offerings

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in building, testing, and deploying applications in high-traffic production environments
• 4+ years of experience with Javascript/TypeScript, Node.js, and React
• Initiative-taking, self-starting attitude with a willingness to collaborate on challenging projects
• Enthusiasm for working closely with data science, product, and operations teams to solve new problems
• Proficiency in AWS, TypeScript, Node.js, React
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical education and work experience
• Strong software development background including serverless patterns, data structures, test-driven development
• Excellent communication skills to convey technical information effectively to various stakeholders
