Description:

Restaurant365 is a SaaS company that provides a centralized solution for accounting and back-office operations for restaurants.
The Senior Software Engineer will design, develop, and unit test code for Restaurant365’s restaurant management platform.
This role is crucial in shaping the technical future of a product used by over 40,000 restaurants nationwide.
The engineer will collaborate with UX, Product, and Engineering teams to deliver modern, scalable, multi-tenant SaaS solutions.
Responsibilities include writing high-quality code, driving technical design discussions, and participating in the evolution of Payroll and HR products.
The engineer will mentor junior engineers, troubleshoot production issues, and champion continuous delivery and DevOps practices.
The role involves working closely with Product Managers, UX Designers, and Principal Engineers to translate requirements into technical designs.
The engineer will analyze existing systems, provide recommendations for performance improvement, and support Architects and Principal Engineers.
Change and release management processes must be followed, and the engineer should stay updated on technology trends.

Requirements:

Candidates must be detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
A BS/MS in Computer Science or 2+ years of equivalent experience is required.
A minimum of 6+ years in an engineering position creating code-based solutions and tools is necessary.
Proficiency in C# and .NET is required, with experience in Java being a significant plus.
Familiarity with modern software engineering practices and technologies such as SQL and no-SQL databases, Microservices, Design Patterns, CI/CD, TDD, and Unit Testing is essential.
Experience with enterprise software, cloud platforms, APIs, and distributed version-control systems like Git is required.
Candidates should have experience troubleshooting and diagnosing issues, as well as knowledge of Agile development concepts.
Experience with client-side frameworks and technologies such as React, Angular, and Bootstrap is also necessary.

The salary range for this position is $125,000 - $190,000, with actual salary varying based on skills, experience, and location.
