Description:
The Senior Front-end Engineer must be heavily experienced in Front-end development, specifically in VueJS.
You will primarily work on building client-facing components and Single Page Applications (SPAs), ensuring high quality, clean, and maintainable code.
This role involves participating in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging.
You will write clean code to develop functional web applications and perform UI tests to optimize performance.
The position requires managing cutting-edge technologies to improve legacy applications.
You will collaborate with Front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
Gathering and addressing technical and design requirements is essential.
You will build reusable code and libraries for future use and follow emerging technologies.
Professional documentation of all coding work is required.
You will use markup languages like HTML to create user-friendly web pages and optimize applications for maximum speed.
Designing mobile-based features and collaborating with back-end developers and web designers to improve usability is part of the job.
You will gather feedback from users and customers to build solutions and write functional requirement documents and guides.
Creating quality mockups and prototypes, helping back-end developers with coding and troubleshooting, and ensuring high-quality graphic standards and brand consistency are also key responsibilities.
Staying up-to-date on emerging technologies is crucial.
Requirements:
A BSc degree in Computer Science or a relevant field is required.
Proven work experience as a Front-end developer is necessary.
You must be highly proficient with JavaScript and its modern ES6+ syntax and features.
A minimum of 4 years of experience with VueJs and its ecosystem (Vue Router, Vuex, etc.) is required.
Experience working with webpack or other module bundlers is essential.
A good understanding of asynchronous code is necessary.
Experience with consuming RESTful APIs is required.
A good understanding of HTML5 and CSS3 is needed, with TailwindCSS knowledge being a big plus.
You should have the ability to write efficient, secure, well-documented, and clean JavaScript code.
Comfort with version control tools such as Git and SVN is required.
Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and writing unit tests is necessary.
Good leadership skills are important.
Proficiency in English is a must.
