Description:

Restream is looking for a Frontend Engineer to join their team to solve complex challenges and build world-class products.
In this role, you will build new features, develop the user interface of the product, and improve the reliability of systems as the company scales.
You will collaborate with a team of Engineers to drive processes and enhance user-facing features.

Responsibilities include crafting beautiful interfaces and interactions in Restream web services, designing and implementing UI and business logic for new and existing features, partnering with a product designer to create user-friendly UI/UX, giving and receiving code review feedback, and maintaining awareness of emerging technologies.

Requirements:

Candidates should have a scrappy, entrepreneurial attitude that enables them to complete high-quality projects quickly.
A strong design sensibility, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellent user experience are essential.
Solid knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, and newer specifications of ECMAScript is required, with experience in other programming languages being a plus.
Expertise in React and its major state management systems is necessary.
Experience with CSS preprocessors like LESS or SASS is required.
Basic backend skills, including knowledge of Node.JS, building REST APIs, and working with relational or NoSQL databases, are needed.
Candidates should be comfortable working with TypeScript, MobX, AWS, Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, and continuous deployment workflows.
Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
The ability to be self-directed, analytical, and work well in a team environment is required.
