Remote Senior Software Engineer, Frontend

Description:

• Procore is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Web Design Systems team.
• The role involves developing a product that impacts the construction industry, which is one of the least digitized and most dangerous industries globally.
• The engineer will help define best practices for frontend development and drive Procore’s product towards a consistent and empowering experience for customers.
• Responsibilities include driving evolutionary change across Procore’s UI, contributing to the technical roadmap, and using data-driven decisions to build frontend platform features.
• The engineer will participate in designing and building systems that align with business outcomes and write well-crafted, maintainable code.
• The position also involves mentoring junior engineers and collaborating with Principal and Staff Engineers and Product Managers.
• This position reports to the Web Design Systems Software Engineering Manager and is based in the Czech Republic, with remote work options available.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, a related field, or comparable work experience is required.
• Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in Object-Oriented Programming fundamentals, Test Driven Development, and System Design.
• Experience with frontend web development skills such as accessibility, responsive design, or design systems is necessary.
• Applicants should have experience designing and building software that enhances developer productivity and efficiency.
• A passion for building solutions that provide a great developer experience is essential.
• Strong documentation skills and the ability to bring clarity to complex solutions are required.
• Experience working remotely and with distributed teams is important.
• Fluency in spoken and written English is mandatory.
