Remote Senior Software Engineer - Full Stack

Description:

• The Senior Software Engineer - Full Stack will be part of the Visa Online/ VCXP team in Warsaw, focusing on the client onboarding journey.
• The role involves delivering a multi-year roadmap using Gen-AI capabilities to enhance knowledge discovery and issue resolution for clients.
• Responsibilities include developing, testing, and deploying sophisticated business solutions, understanding requirements, and collaborating with business and technology teams.
• The position requires Test Driven Development using Java, Angular, Node, conducting peer code reviews, and handling root cause analysis for bugs.
• Communication skills are essential for working with product, architects, and team members directly on requirements and problem resolution.
• The engineer will analyze business requirements, architect scalable solutions, and provide user documentation.
• The role involves working in Agile/Scrum teams, collaborating with global teams, and striving to improve products and services continuously.
• This is a hybrid position allowing employees to work remotely and in the office based on business needs.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 5+ years of relevant work experience.
• Preferred qualifications include 3+ years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 2+ years of work experience with an Advanced Degree.
• Knowledge of technologies like Java, Kubernetes, Angular, Node, JPA, Hibernate, Spring Boot, Oracle/SQL database.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in application development frameworks like Spring, ORM, and test-driven development.
• Familiarity with NoSQL DB, Splunk, Tableau, Unix/Linux, Docker, or Kubernetes is a plus.
• Experience in software design, architecture, and development life cycle.
• Previous experience in consumer-facing application development is advantageous.
