Description:
The Senior Software Engineer at Healthie plays a crucial role in the Web Engineering team, contributing to new feature development and enhancements.
Responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions, providing technical leadership to the development team, and leading feature development from concept to deployment.
The role involves ensuring software quality through rigorous testing and optimization, managing deployment pipelines, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, and collaborating cross-functionally with designers and DevOps engineers.
Qualifications include a track record of success in shipping Rails applications, experience with object-oriented design and modularization of monolithic applications, and familiarity with the tech stack which includes Rails, React, Typescript, GraphQL, Postgres, Redis, Sidekiq, RSpec, and Capybara.
The ideal candidate should have strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for healthcare.
Nice to have skills include focus on infrastructure and monitoring aspects, experience with application architecture and performance optimization, and knowledge of IAAS technologies.

Requirements:
6+ years of experience shipping Rails applications to production environments with monolithic, service-oriented, or microservice architectures.
Best practice experience with coding standards, refactoring, complexity reduction, Domain Driven Design, and schema design.
Experience with object-oriented design and modularization of monolithic applications, and maintaining and upgrading Ruby and Rails-based production stacks.
Familiarity with the tech stack including Rails, React, Typescript, GraphQL, Postgres, Redis, Sidekiq, RSpec, and Capybara.
Ability to prioritize platform needs, strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for healthcare.
Experience with infrastructure and monitoring aspects, application architecture and performance optimization, and IAAS technologies.

Competitive base salary of $130,000 - $160,000 per year + annual company bonus and benefits.
