Remote Senior Software Engineer Full Stack / Back-End (Contact Center)

Description:

• Porch Group is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Full Stack / Back-End (Contact Center) to join their team in India.
• The candidate will be responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of high-quality software solutions, particularly supporting call center applications.
• They will provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver critical features.
• The role involves analyzing and resolving complex technical issues, creating and maintaining technical documentation, staying updated with industry trends, and participating in agile development processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 8+ years of software development experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and its frameworks (React, Vue, Angular), SQL (preferably PostgreSQL), and production JVM language (preferably Scala).
• Experience with development tools like Git, Jenkins, Docker, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), relational and non-relational databases, and commercial CRM systems.
• Strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative mindset.
• Familiarity with continuous delivery and integration, test-driven development, automated testing frameworks, real-time systems, version control systems, Kubernetes, and working with US-based business teams.
• Proficiency in English and Hindi, ability to work within Eastern Standard Time (EST) overlap, and a workspace with a quiet environment and internet connection of at least 30 Mbps download | 10 Mbps upload.
