The Senior Software Engineer will design, develop, and ship software solutions.
Responsibilities include building high-quality, innovative, and performant software that complies with coding standards and technical design.
The role involves mentoring, technical discussions, epic shaping, and candidate assessment.
The engineer will work with Product and Design to ensure code solves real user problems.
They will write well-designed, tested code and integrate software components into a fully functional software system.
The engineer will document and maintain software functionality, troubleshoot, debug, upgrade, and deploy existing systems.
They will evaluate user feedback and participate in solution design, actively participate in code reviews, mentor less senior engineers, and assess new candidates.

Requirements:

Proven work experience as a full stack Software Engineer is required.
Candidates must have five or more years of experience developing interactive web applications.
Direct experience shipping software in Go and Typescript is necessary.
Knowledge of relational databases, such as Postgres, is required.
Experience with test-driven development is essential.
Strong technical communication skills are a must.
The ability to understand a broader business and stakeholder context is required.

The starting pay for the successful candidate will be between $150,000 and $200,000, determined by job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions.
