Remote Senior Software Engineer I

Description:

• As a senior software engineer at Axon, you will play a crucial role in designing new products that provide law enforcement administrators and crime analysts with access to crime data, decision support, reports, and investigation insights.
• You will be responsible for making key design decisions, mentoring other engineers, and collaborating with product managers and designers to ensure customer-centric solutions.
• The position involves leading engineering architecture design reviews, setting high technical standards, and improving the engineering process for long-term success.
• You will work with the latest open-source technologies and build services that prioritize availability and latency in a mission-critical environment.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
• You should have at least 6 years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in frontend development with Javascript, React, or Typescript is necessary.
• Backend service experience in languages like Java, Scala, Go, or C# is essential.
• Experience working with SQL or NoSQL data stores is a must, and familiarity with Java, Golang, or Scala programming is a plus.
