Description:

Olo is a leading SaaS platform that accelerates digital transformation in the restaurant industry by providing digital ordering, payment, and guest engagement solutions.
As a Senior Software Engineer on the Business Systems team, you will architect, develop, scale, and monitor solutions, improvements, and services across Olo’s Business Systems.
The position is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere within the United Kingdom.
You will be contracted to Olo through Deel, an Employer of Record, which handles the legal and administrative responsibilities of your employment.
You will design and implement scalable, high-quality components and services that align with team and company goals.
You will contribute to technical decision-making, focusing on addressing technical debt, reliability, and system performance.
You will investigate and improve interactions between large and complex systems, including integrations with financial platforms.
You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to translate customer needs into technical solutions.
You will proactively monitor and improve system performance, identifying and resolving issues swiftly while communicating effectively with stakeholders.
You will document and share knowledge to elevate the team’s technical expertise and champion best practices in software development and agile methodologies.

Requirements:

You must have 6+ years of on-the-job development experience.
You should have experience writing unit tests and testable code.
You must demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex technical challenges.
You should exhibit excellent judgment, seeking diverse perspectives and challenging assumptions to improve outcomes.
You must be able to deliver constructive feedback that empowers individuals and strengthens the team.
You should be able to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
You must consistently meet sprint and quarterly commitments while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.

The estimated compensation range for this position is £57,600 - £68,400 annually, depending on your experience.
