Description:

The Recordkeeping team manages the bookkeeping of retirement plans and develops a proprietary recordkeeping platform that supports the unique needs of 401(k) plans.
The role involves developing a next-generation, horizontally scalable recordkeeping platform, blending accounting principles with scalable, distributed systems.
Responsibilities include building and maintaining software for processing retirement savings, improving complex processes, collaborating with engineers and stakeholders, writing clean code, and participating in the development life cycle.
Requirements:
A minimum of 7 years of professional experience in building and maintaining backend software is required.
Experience in building large-scale backend systems and managing elastic workloads using queue/worker and streaming architectures is necessary.
Candidates must have experience scaling database platforms, including NoSQL and SQL.
Experience in migrating to modern scalable technologies from monolithic systems while maintaining high reliability and availability is essential.
A strong understanding of accounting and 401(k) domains is preferred.
Candidates should possess a proactive mindset and a desire to learn and grow, along with the ability to write maintainable code.
A formal training in a computer science-related discipline, preferably a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, is required.
