Description:
Spring Health is seeking a Senior Cross-Platform Engineer to join their team and contribute to cross-platform engineering initiatives for mobile and web development.
The role involves designing and enhancing capabilities of the Flutter app and web front end built in React with Redux, as well as contributing to the development of features like Push Notifications and multi-platform flows.
The Senior Engineer will be responsible for maintaining a well-tested codebase, identifying areas for growth and iteration in the application stack, and guiding the growth of other engineers.
Success in this role is defined by maintaining operational excellence in the mobile code base, expanding testing coverage, delivering projects on time with high quality, and mentoring junior developers.
The ideal candidate should have 8+ years of professional development experience, hands-on experience with Flutter and other mobile languages, understanding of mobile vs web concepts, and strong leadership and mentorship skills.
Additional requirements include familiarity with web frontend React & Redux, good API and GraphQL design understanding, and a willingness to work on an agile team and learn new technologies.
Requirements:
8+ years of professional development experience
Hands-on experience with Flutter and other mobile languages
Understanding of mobile vs web concepts and strengths of both platforms
Proficiency in web frontend React & Redux
Knowledge of API and GraphQL design
Bonus points for Ruby on Rails (API development) and native mobile (iOS or Android)
Strong leadership and mentorship skills
Comfortable working on an agile team and learning new technologies
Embraces writing well-designed tests and coaching/growing engineers
Enjoys participating in pair programming
