Remote Senior Software Engineer II (Remote)

Description:

• Join Axon, a company on a mission to Protect Life, by working as a Senior Software Engineer II in the Real Time Operations On-Prem Integrations Squad.
• Collaborate with a team to deliver scalable solutions for customers to deploy, configure, and manage software on customer-premises equipment.
• Develop features like a search interface to state and federal datastores, integration with camera systems for public safety agencies, vehicle location services, and integration with 911 phone systems.
• Work closely with software engineers, product managers, and designers to ensure high availability and easy management of solutions.
• Lead the implementation of new features, understand the needs of new agencies, and contribute to shaping team culture and engineering processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of professional software development experience.
• Experience designing and delivering highly-available, scalable cloud-based systems.
• Proficiency in building and deploying Windows services and remotely managed software.
• Backend service experience in languages like Java, Go, C#, or similar.
• Familiarity with SQL or NoSQL data stores, realtime streaming event log technologies like Kafka or ActiveMQ, and cloud-based APIs and infrastructure.
