The Senior Software Engineer will join the Integrations team to support healthcare interoperability development.
Responsibilities include developing interfaces that connect the CareMessage platform with external systems, working on API to API, direct Database, FHIR-based, and possibly HL7 based workflows.
The role involves collaboration with Product, Customer Success, Engineering, and customers to understand integration requirements.
The ideal candidate should have a strong passion for software engineering and a commitment to advancing health equity.
Requirements:
Candidates must have a minimum of 4 years of hands-on software engineering experience with JavaScript and one other programming language, with at least 3 years in developing healthcare integrations using FHIR and HL7 standards.
A solid understanding of software development lifecycle, coding best practices, design patterns, and object-oriented architecture is required.
Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to diversity and inclusion, as the team collaborates with individuals from various backgrounds.
This position requires residency within the United States.
Candidates should possess strategic leadership skills to autonomously drive long-term initiatives.
A growth-oriented mindset and outstanding written and verbal communication skills are essential, especially in remote environments.
Effective project management skills are necessary to collaborate with both technical and non-technical partners during integration development.

The salary for this role is set at $170,500, with equitable pay for team members performing the same role at the same level regardless of location.
